The Journal “Wetland Research”
Wetlands are important for both humans and living organisms but have been severely diminished in recent years as one of the most vulnerable ecosystems.
Wetland Research is the journal of the Japan Wetland Society, which encompasses all of the natural sciences plus the humanities and social sciences, established with the main purpose of promoting conservation and wise use of wetlands.
Wetland Research aims to develop basic and applied research on what wetlands are as well as how we can contribute to conservation and wise use of wetlands.
The journal welcomes original articles or review papers from academic researchers at universities or other research institutions, as well as case studies or activity reports (that do not require a peer review process) from a wide variety of practitioners from governments, private companies, and non-governmental organizations.
